Although the room was of adequate size, it was so stuffed with furniture that one had to take care not to trip over it. Happily, the weather was very pleasant when we were there, so we did not have much need of either heat or AC. The HVAC system consists of a unit mounted on the wall, under a window. Toiletries provided in the bathroom were appropriate to this pricepoint (e.g., I used their shampoo & conditioner, not the travel set that were in my bag). In 1985, the "Emory Inn" was purchased by the Best Western Company who later rebranded as a Courtyard by Marriott.
